Refunds and cancellation
Last updated 27 August 2026
The short version
A payment buys a listing on a public board, delivered immediately. We are not obliged to refund it. In practice we would rather refund an unhappy person than keep their money, so the policy below is deliberately generous.
Cancelling before you pay
Close the payment window at any point and nothing is charged. A checkout you abandon is discarded within 24 hours.
Refunds we always give
- Duplicate or accidental double payment. Refunded in full, no questions.
- Charged but never listed. If your payment succeeded and your name did not appear within 24 hours, we refund in full.
- Wrong amount because of a fault on our side. Refunded in full.
- Unauthorised use of your card. Tell us and we refund immediately, and cooperate with your bank.
- You changed your mind within 24 hours and your name has not yet been shown publicly. Refunded in full.
Refunds at our discretion
Ask us. Explain what happened. We read every request from a person, not a script. A request made in good faith is usually granted.
What a refund does to your seat
A refunded payment stops counting. Your name is removed from the list, or your total drops by the refunded amount, and the seats below you move up. This is automatic.
How to ask, and how long it takes
- Email vishal@thepersonwhomattersmostoninternet.com with your receipt code (it looks like
MM-XXXX-XXXX) and the email you paid from. - We reply within 3 working days and start any approved refund the same day.
- Razorpay typically returns the money to your original payment method in 5–7 working days. International cards can take longer — the delay is your bank’s, not ours.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method and in the original currency. If your bank applied a conversion, the amount you receive may differ slightly from what you paid; that difference is your bank’s exchange rate, and we cannot control it.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please write to us first — a refund is faster than a chargeback and we will not argue with a reasonable request. If you do raise a chargeback, the entry is removed from the list while it is investigated.
